STD‘s can be passed along with any type of sexual encounter. The risk level for contracting an STD through oral sex is lower than vaginal and anal sex, but the risk is still there. Even without penetration, Sexually Transmitted Diseases can still be passed along. Herpes can be passed with just having skin to skin contact. Use protection with all sexual encounters.
Get familiar with common STD’s and be aware of the symptoms. The majority of the time individuals infected with STD’s do not realize they have one.
If you have had an unprotected encounter, be sure to get tested especially if you are having any signs or symptoms.
