Vaccine for AIDS?

Not too long ago, many thought that AIDS could wipe out a large percentage of the world population. Then came extremely strong anti virals and better screening tests and at least in the United States the numbers have not grown exponentially. Now in the works is a very possible vaccine for HIV that may be not too far away. After testing on monkeys, it shows great promise.

The vaccine would need to be modified to fight against human HIV but the outlook has never been better. Soon, HIV may be a thing of the past. This would save millions of lives in third world countries like Africa where HIV is an epidemic. However, until the vaccine is fully tested and distributed which may take up to a decade; make sure to get tested as to prevent HIV from turning into AIDS.
